DaCosta’s Secret: The New Generation of Organic Food.

DaCosta’s Secret: The New Generation of Organic Food.

Organic food has grown considerably in the last few years. It is a $40 billion industry and represents approx. 5% of all food sold in the United States in 2016.

As the organic food market grows and customers are becoming more educated on its many benefits, there has been a significant increase in sales of imported and exotic organic foods as well.

Customers want more variety. They want their vegetables to be organic, but they also want their olive oil, sauces, tea, coffee and many other food products to be organic. This trend, which indicates Americans are demanding organic food products that go beyond the local agricultural goods, can be described as the “second generation of organic food.”

We have been actively searching the world for natural and organic products to offer our customers more options and more flavors.

That was the main reason we launched DaCosta’s Secret: our organic, fair trade, artisan and/or specialty food monthly subscription box.

DaCosta’s Secret: explore the world’s most intriguing flavors

DaCosta’s Secret: explore the world’s most intriguing flavors

Today, we start a new journey; DaCosta’s Secret monthly subscription box.

As more and more people add organic, fair trade, artisan and specialty foods to their lifestyle, the demand for exotic sauces, oils, coffee, bean-to-bar chocolate and related products has increased considerably. Americans are getting increasingly educated and aware of the many benefits of organic, farm-to-cup, farm-to-table, specialty and artisan food products, and they want to address those needs with options from all over the world, in addition to, not in lieu of, locally-grown foods.

DaCosta’s Secret was founded to address this growing and demanding market. We only import natural, organic, artisan and/or specialty foods that are not grown commercially in the United States.

We have been working with organic, fair trade, artisan and specialty food farms and producers for 13+ years and we represent some of the world’s most prestigious gourmet food companies.

From acai to cupuaçu, from avocado oil to flavored olive oil, from specialty coffee to organic tea, from the Brazilian Amazon to Sri Lanka, we will give you monthly bits of inspiration and innovative flavors.
Every month, our food curator will select 6-8 products to compose your box. We will mail them on the 17th of each month.

Every new item you receive will have a description to provide information, recipes and ideas.
The foods you will like the most will be incorporates in our store, so you can always buy the foods you like as many times as you want.

We want you to have more options: more flavors to your life and ideas to your recipe repertoire.
